Adam Davies is an artist and stop-motion animator living in Baltimore, MD. He fell in love with animation because he found that it voiced his stupid sense of humor and dread.

The Itching, a claymation short he animated and co-created with Dianne Bellino, made its world premiere at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival after 9 years hunched over clay in a windowless basement studio. The film has since screened at over 70 festivals and won 12 awards.

His most recent labor of love is Wild Life, a 2D-animated post-apocalyptic zoo series about animal friends just trying to survive. He serves as creator, writer, and executive producer alongside West Coast collaborators, Alex Plapinger and Dylan Dawson.

Wild Life aired Fall 2020 as SyFy's late-night animated block TZGZ's first internally developed show picked up to series. You can stream it free on NBC’s Peacock App!

He’s currently working 9-5 as staff/faculty in the Animation Department at Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. He’s a long-time suffering Knicks fan that loves Chaos Magic, card tricks, and reading about science.
